Modern life in big cities is often difficult to combine with nature. Finding a green space is a complicated task in any large city and an almost impossible challenge in an apartment building. Perhaps with this reality in mind, the designer Jean- Marie Massaud conceived Green Islands, a seat with integrated vegetation.

This piece of design is an innovative combination of planter and chair. Surely the creation of Massaud, marketed in the line Oasis Offecct not change the outlook on natural life in an apartment, but can at least bring a little green surrounding environment.

Green Islands seats have a wooden structure covered with foam, which hides the integrated pot. Thus, for the only seat that plant stands. The upholstery on the other hand, is made in fabric or leather.

Green Islands is available as a circular or square. This sofa, therefore, can adapt to different environments and decorations, and also comes in two colors (green or white).

The plant grows in Green Islands, of course, is the choice of each person. Some may opt for flowers, others for a bonsai or you may prefer certain subjects herbs. The important thing is to try to grow plants indoors.

Those who are attracted by the proposed Green Islands, should take into account that its price exceeds 2,000 euros. It may seem expensive, but new ideas always have a high value.
